I had an Ayurvedic treatment with Emma on a recent trip to Brighton.
I can’t recommend Emma highly enough. She is a great therapist. The session was amazing: I felt it worked on so many levels - physical, emotional and spiritual. Physically, I definitely felt very relaxed and actually fell asleep during the treatment. But what made it a particularly good treatment for me was that it felt healing. Healing in the sense that I had an internal dialogue play out in my head during the treatment that helped me resolve some emotional issues that had been burdening me for some time. It goes without saying that it’s not only a well trained therapist - but a person with very special qualities and attributes - that can facilitate that kind of personal experience for a client during a treatment. I felt revived and energised for days afterwards. Many thanks Emma.

Emma is very skilled at what she does, very thoughtful and has a lovely, warm and comforting presence. Treatments feel amazing. Seeing Emma over the last few months has really helped improve my wellbeing and I will certainly be continuing to use her services. I would highly recommend Emma to anyone, you will not regret it :)

Emma was thoughtful, gentle, supportive and nurturing and that was even before we got to the massage. OMG, the massage was amazing. Silk is a beautiful little haven of tranquility and nurture hidden away down an unprepossessing dead-end road in the centre of Brighton. I loved it, and Emma gave me much to think about. Thank you.

This was my first time having an ayurvedic massage and it was incredible! Emma was very welcoming and immediately made me feel at ease. She was clearly an experienced practitioner who asked thoughtful questions and developed a good understanding of my difficulties. The massage itself was transformational for me, releasing lots of problematic energy and restoring balance to my system. I will definitely be booking more appointments!

I also really appreciated the therapy space - Silk - as a calm and inclusive space on a busy and hot day in Brighton.

    Fantastic. Still!
I have been visiting Emma for the past five months and it is genuinely one of the most beneficial aspects on my wellbeing journey. It began with needing to fix an unknown, transferred into maintenance and now evolves further.
Each treatment feels like an advancement and never the same or going through the motions.
Emma is genuine, intuitive, works from the heart and can pick up on things that one might miss (and subtly begin working on them too.)
Having tried a range of treatments and therapies, I now only subscribe to acupuncture and ayurveda as approaches, the latter being the full ideal of mind, body and spirit equalising. Emma being the best practitioner I have utilised, genuinely cannot recommend Balance and Bloom enough.

i came to visit balance and bloom today as part of a self care regime that includes a wide range of different modalities. i just love that emma is a 2nd generation ayurvedic practitioner. she inhabits the therapist space so expertly and makes me feel so welcome and at ease. today i had an ayurvedic facial to help tighten and uplift my face muscles. this extended into an amazing head and neck massage. she also found blocked "marma" points in my shoulders and performed a treatment on them that has brought me extraordinary relief from pain this evening. my face is glowing and i look and feel well rested and radiant. emma's ayurvedic approach to healthcare offers a 3 dosha analysis of health issues that can produce results no other modality can reach. highly recommended.
